Shameless Plug.

Remember Wild Squirrel Nut Butter (formerly Flying Squirrel), a company I’ve mentioned a few times on the blog? Keeley and Erica have been making outstanding nut butters in Oregon since 2009. I’m a frequent buyer of their Sneaky Cinnamon [cinnamon raisin] and Pretzel Pizzaz [pretzels and honey] flavors… but I have to say, they’re all to die for.

fantastic flavors.

When I first ordered from Keeley and Erica over a year ago, the nut butters came in tiny plastic jars. By my next order, they were packaged in fancy 16-ounce containers with new labels and a new logo. And now, they’re looking to expand some more!

I can’t think of a worthier cause than helping small businesses, and that’s why I wanted to share Keeley and Erica’s Kickstarter Campaign with you today. The girls are looking to raise $10,000 by the end of March in order to build their business beyond Oregon. I’ve contributed to the cause, and I hope you will, too!

I can’t say enough about how awesome their peanut butters are. There really is something to be said for all-natural butters without the added oils and sugars, and their creative flavors take these over the edge. If you’re a frequent buyer, please donate! If you’re not yet familiar with Wild Squirrel… give these treats a try. There’s nothing like Bright Eyed an Bushy Tailed [chocolate and espresso] nut butter in your oatmeal, Pretzel Pizzaz on your PB&J, Curious Cocoa-Nut [coconut and chocolate] in a tropical-themed smoothie, or a spoonful of Sneaky Cinnamon before bed. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Please check out Wild Squirrel and order their nut butters here, and donate to the Kickstarter campaign here. They’re offering rewards for donors, too!
