Happy Holidays!

Grady and I will be crossing the Mason-Dixon line today to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I hope everyone who is traveling in the coming days stays safe. And, have a healthy, happy, Thanksgiving! We’ll see you in PA for some dresses, recipes, and pie.

In the meantime, here’s a little bit more on food policy for your information while I’m on the road. It’s sad to think that General Mills is more concerned about the loss of their ad revenue than the fact that one third of children between the ages of 10 and 17 are obese. But hey, it’s more important that Lucky Charms be labeled a “healthy cereal” and pizza a “vegetable” so that way we dont lose American jobs…right? I know, the argument seems tenuous to me, too, considering all the farmers already left out to dry because of our current subsidy system.

I'm so ready for this.

Obviously the product labelling is more important than the ingredients!
