Grady, the Jolly Giant of Belmont

Hide your toy poodles, french bulldogs and chihuahuas. Our sixteen-week-old puppy weighs 46.5 pounds.

Grady had his last puppy vet trip today. He’s now fully vaccinated and able to receive his Virginia dog license! With a bit of coercing, he climbed onto the scale. He’s up 15.5 pounds from his last visit, very healthy, and very happy. His canine teeth are starting to peek through his gums, which is pretty neat to see.

I’ve never met a dog that LOVED the vet’s office as much as Grady does. He can’t get enough. The technician had a photo shoot with him and should be e-mailing us some photos soon!

How long must I sit here?

Healthy, Happy Grady.

Now that he’s completed his puppy shots, his time at the vet will drop to once per year. The next 3 milestones will be:

  • Applying for our dog license [ASAP].
  • Grady gets neutered [December].
  • Grady gets a microchip [December].
The vet, technicians and secretaries wore him out, so he crashed in the car on the way home.

Doctor’s only orders? Stop eating rocks, Grady. We’re going to have to keep an eye on him and hope that bad habit stops.

Congratulations for guessing under. You’re 2 out of 2 now. Did you and Shaun guess over/under this time?
