Go 'Hoos?

Well, then we lost. So we went to Blue Mountain Brewery. They just re-opened with their new dining space! It’s gorgeous.

Blue Mountain's New Space.

Grady was a crazy man under the table. He ate so much mulch out of the garden. I don’t know how it all fit. He also stole a stuffed duck from a baby.

Scene: Tiny baby holding hands with mother, walking down pathway.* Tucked under his arm, a giant yellow duck.

Enter: Grady, dog, donning a halloween bandanna. In one swift motion, dog snatches toy from child’s clutches and tries to run away. His leash prevents him.

Embarrassed dog owner chases down mother and returns slobber-covered duck to child, sheepishly walks away.

The face of a ROBBER.

He spent the entire night stressed out because of a little girl. Has anyone else seen or heard about those shoes for young children that have a squeaker in them? They’re supposed to help you locate your child. WHAT? Grady was panicking because the Girl with the Squeaking Shoes ran around the brewery the entire time we were there. Squeak. Squeak. [Grady: “Can I eat it?” *panic*] Squeak. Squeak. [Grady: “WHERE IS THE TOY?”] I thought he was going to topple the table over. Frankly, the sound wasn’t really enjoyable for me, either, and I don’t associate it with something I’m allowed to chew on.

Today’s polo match was canceled because of the weather. Come on, weather. New plans TBD.

* After a proofread of this post, scriptwriter probably would have been criticized by director for having a “tiny baby” that at the same time can “walk.” Ponder.
