The Results Are In…

Grady had his second round of shots this morning, and of course was a little angel [in public]. He loves the vet and doesn’t give anyone a hard time during the poking and prodding. He had to be upgraded from the table scale to the floor scale due to his giant-ness, and the result was:

Thirty-one pounds. Kenya believe it? Shaun owes me money. Although he better just save it and put it towards puppy food, because the vet recommended we up his daily calorie intake, too.

It’s so incredible to think about how much has changed in the last four weeks, though. He went from tiny snout/monster paws/sleeps all the time:

8.5 weeks.

TINY little nose.

To awkward toddler with lanky legs and a long face in just four weeks. Also, do you notice how the little pink birthmark on his nose is gone? Sad… I sort of loved it.

12 weeks.

Of course all this growing means we had to upgrade to his full-grown crate, which may or may not take up more room than a twin bed. Totally worth it, though.

Because I bring the babes.
